What is Vacuum mold processing?
"Vacuum mold" refers to vacuum forming, which is a manufacturing process usually used to produce plastic products or composite products. During the vacuum forming process, the heat-softened material is placed in the mold, and then the air is extracted by vacuum, so that the material fits tightly to the mold surface, and finally forms the desired product.
Process flow:
Prepare the mold: Prepare the required mold, which is usually made of aluminum alloy or silicone, etc., with the shape and details of the desired product.
Heating the material: Heat the plastic sheet or composite sheet to the softening temperature for easy molding.
Placing the material: Place the heated and softened material sheet on the mold.
Vacuum extraction: The air in the mold is extracted by a vacuum pump or vacuum system to make the material fit the mold surface, reduce bubbles and improve molding quality.
Cooling and curing: After the material cools and solidifies, open the mold and take out the molded product.
Application areas:
Packaging industry: used to produce plastic packaging containers, pallets, boxes, etc.
Automotive industry: manufacture body parts, interior parts, etc.

Aerospace: produce aircraft parts and interiors.
Medical devices: manufacture medical device housings and parts.
Electronic products: produce housings, panels, etc.
Vacuum forming has the advantages of low cost, high production efficiency, and suitability for mass production. It is widely used in many industrial fields, especially in areas with high requirements on product appearance quality and complexity.
